Meet DJ Chachi

DJ Chachi began his DJ career in 1992 and performed at his first wedding in 1995, quickly becoming a go-to choice for couples looking to make their special day unforgettable. By 2022, he had played at over 1,000 weddings, showcasing his commitment to creating memorable experiences. Chachi graduated in 1999 with a Master’s in Broadcasting from Central Michigan University and also holds a certification to teach secondary education. He kicked off his career performing in popular bars and nightclubs like the Fenton Roadhouse, Maxies, Penalty Box, Tonic Nightclub, and Vanity of Las Vegas. In 2004, he gained recognition as the charismatic DJ on CK 105.5’s Morning Show, where he entertained listeners for eight years and later hosted his own Mid-Day show.
A DJ for All Occasions
In 2012, Chachi became the official DJ for the Detroit Lions, serving for four seasons while also spinning at Greektown Casino’s Synergy attraction. In 2016, he transitioned to the Palace of Auburn Hills to DJ for the Detroit Pistons and later took on a role at DTE Music Energy Theater (now Pine Knob). Chachi has played for a variety of major artists, including Pitbull, Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban, and Kid Rock. Since the Pistons’ move to Little Caesars Arena in 2017, he has also served as the arena DJ for the Detroit Red Wings. In 2018, Chachi made history by DJing pregame events for the Detroit Tigers, becoming one of the first DJs to work with all of Michigan’s major professional sports teams.
